Hear what some of our parents and campers have to say about Dom Scala Baseball.
“Hi, I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience my son had at baseball camp. We have always enjoyed baseball as a family (I have loved baseball my whole life) but ever since John attended camp he has not stopped talking about baseball, watching it and practicing. I had hoped that camp would teach him about baseball but it did more than that – it taught him how to truly love the game.”
“William Vaher made the Freshman Baseball Team!! Your camp this Winter helped him tremendously!
Can’t thank you enough for helping him get there!”
Julie Vaher, March 2019
“Thank you for giving me a chance to work out at your complex in front of you and your coaches. I had a great experience at your camp and loved the drills you required us to do. It gave me a chance to show my personal abilities to you and your coaches instead of hoping to catch your eye in a larger group setting.”
Mike Cartusciello, High School Prospect Camp June 2017
“My son had a great time and learned a lot at the summer camp. Dom, Yolanda, and the assistants do a wonderful job with the participants. He keeps asking about going back for two weeks next year. We’ll definitely do it.”
“Thanks again for a wonderful week of camp! AJ loved every second of it! Looking forward to next year!”
“Thank you. Riley and his friends love your camp and always say it is so much fun! See you next year and thank you.”
“Brendan had a great time. You had mentioned you had something for him for being “Pitcher of the Week.” Let me know when I can stop by and pick it up.”
“Just a brief note of thanks from overseas. l am currently in Iraq and spoke to my sons Nicholas and Matthew yesterday via Skype video. They raved about how great baseball camp was, held up their medals for me, and said how much fun the coaches were. My wife says that all this weekend when they have been playing baseball in our backyard, all they do is talk about the “cutoff,” etc.
I found out about your camp last year and asked my wife to enroll them as it looked like it was so well run (and my wife now confirms this). As you know she was very hesitant as she did not want to put them in all day, but she said you helped her make it work for them to do a half day. So thanks as I really wanted them to attend, I appreciate that. Please also give my thanks to the coaches, and hope to meet you next year.
P.S. One of the other moms took photos of the closing game and ceremony on Friday and sent it via iPhone to Iraq to me which was really great.”
“I felt compelled to send you a note to thank you for the wonderful experience my son, Bryant Ramsey Colon (aka Manny Ramirez) had at your camp last week.
Bryant was very pleased and enjoyed working with you and your coaches. Unfortunately my schedule did not allow to attend any of the games last week but I was very proud of Bryant for winning the Best Offensive Player Award in his division.”
“Just a note to thank you so much! Matthew had a great week, really enjoyed himself, and was sorry that the week was up. He learned a lot from you, Coach Murphy, Coach Nick, Coach Timmy, and Coach Rich. They are a great group of guys and really went out of their way to make sure that not only the kids learned the proper way to play ball, but had fun in the process. Thank you again for everything, especially looking out for Matthew as if he was your own.”

“I wanna start by saying thank you. Thank you for the opportunity you are giving me to fulfill my dream as a college athlete and to play on your team. I appreciate you giving me the spot on your team. I got home, spoke with my parents and my mother cried in happiness and excitement. Adelphi is my school and I am proud to say that I will be spending my next four years as a student and as a baseball player for you.”
